Beside the newly released Joomla!1.6 beta, there’s another fantastic thing recently launched by the Joomla! team.

The newly opened http://people.joomla.org has quickly become an incredibly inspiring place and helps you get connected with fellow Joomla folks on a whole new level. We’ve been approved for 2 groups, so please join us on: There’s a whole lot of good coming out of people.joomla.org already and it’s only been live for a few days, so get in there now to connect, create and get inspired.

Full list of features for Morph

Since we first started hinting about Morph, the most commonly asked question is “Where can I find a full list of Morph’s features?”. We held off on posting anything, mainly because so much stuff was changing on a daily basis and not all the features had been decided yet. We’re now at a point where we are getting close to doing a code-freeze. In short, this means we will no longer be developing new features (before the stable release) and will shift focus to fixing all bugs, optimizing performance and cross browser fixes. Configurator – method of control in the Morph framework for Joomla

Lets use the analogy of “Morph as a sports car”, for simplicity. The core framework would be the engine, the themelet would be the design/body of the car and Morph’s Configurator would be the dashboard.
