New preview of the Creativa themelet – Typography
Creativa is our upcoming, Morph powered, community style themelet for Joomla, as mentioned in this previous post.
We promised to keep you posted on this blog about the development – this time you’ll be looking at the typography part of this themelet.

List of extensions we’ll be supporting
Based on the extensive feedback we’ve received so far, this is a list of extensions that we will be supporting. Obviously it’s going to take us a while to do each of these properly, so support for each will be added in as it’s ready.
Social Engine: JomSocial,
Anahita (when available)
Blog: WordPress for Joomla,
K2,
FlexiContent,
MyBlog
Comments: JComment
Ecommerce: Tienda
Forum: Ninjaboard,
Kunena
Before you ask about release date…
We recommend that you use the time getting to know the in’s and out’s of
the Morph framework and toolset, as well as setting up your sites structure, content, extensions, etc
using the Vanilla themelet.
When Creativa is ready, it’s simply a case of installing the themelet and doing a couple of tweaks. Piece of cake and a great way to go live faster!
Keep an eye on this blog and twitter for updates.
Let us know what you think about this design – write a comment below.

I like it alot:) Hope to hear news on Anahita in the coming month or so to see if it will tie in with Kenuna and a few other things – who knows :) Keep up the great work on this theme.
Thank you kindly sir :P
Just to clarify, the Anahita integration will be done once it is released to the general public (at this stage it is only available to Anahita partners).

Can we use our own color if the ones provided do not work for us?
As Mitch correctly pointed out, you can update some of the colors from Configurator (things like the headings, text color, etc) and anything outside of that can easily be modified via the themelets css.
Plus help just a forum post away if you get stuck at all ;)

@Kathleen: That’s the beauty of Morph! Try playing around with the Configurator on any other themelet (vanilla is a good start) and you’ll see what I mean.
Chris, digging the colors. The themelets coming out are so nice that I’m paralyzed by choice. Well done.
Oh, and looking forward to seeing you again in Chicago, and finally meeting Tess! Anyone else from the team making it?
@spacemonkey: I hope to be there. If I can’t make the expo, I will at least drive up to have drinks with you guys at night someplace. :)
@John: Wow, you even got the new guy in there, but forgot about me. :(
Thanks Mitch!
I’m looking forward to catching up with you again at CXS Expo! It’ll be fun to have Tess along this time round too. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to get Matt there too :)

Hey Chris,
If I start using Joomla with Jomsocial right now..would I be able to integrate Creativa for Jomsocial later on? Would I have to start from scratch?
Hey Narek,
Nope that would be fine. I’d recommend starting with Morph & the Quick Installer though, as it would mean less configuration steps later when you update.
I am also working on the new base template for Jomsocial, which will be easy to install once its available.
Hope that helps :)
Cheers,
Chris
