I full agree Daniel :) I'm planning another solid writing session in the next two weeks and the printable refs is high up on the list.

We would have done it sooner, but we were incredibly busy with the structural changes to Morph, which were essentially laying the groundwork for Morph 2.0 :)

On a side note, I have started to document all the different id's/classes's used in Morph, but i still have a way to go. I'll probably publish it as a work-in-progress guide on the Livedocs site first, until its 100% complete.

"We’re working on a number of different printable reference docs, but we hadn’t thought of the id’s/classes references – good call! ;) I’ll make a note to add that to our ongoing documentation efforts."

From the user/developer end these docs are incredibly important, especially the id/classes references. I know as developers it is waay more fun to develop new stuff than document, so I wonder how these references are coming along?

Hey Matt,
We're working on a number of different printable reference docs, but we hadn't thought of the id's/classes references - good call! ;) I'll make a note to add that to our ongoing documentation efforts.

As for the code comments, the feature is "working" and can be enabled in the debugging tab in Configurator. That said, since so much stuff has been changing, i've held off adding the actual comments (some are there, but i still need to do a lot more work on it).

Keep in mind also that when it comes to the css we are limited to "open/close" comments around specific files, since the files themselves are plain css files, so having php conditional wraps isn't possible.

We're wrapping a new update to Morph, Configurator & Vanilla today, as well as 2 new themelets (Ultra Candy & Explorer). The next update, planned a couple days later, will have the new frontend dev bar, which you will be able to enable either via Configurator or the url switch. Options in the dev bar will include css/js packing/unpacking, enabling of code comments, module outlines, gzip on/off, firebug lite on/off).

At this stage we're trying to balance releasing new refinements, write documentation and get a whole bunch of themelets ready for your consumption :)

Anywho, if you get stuck at all, help is always close at hand ;)

Cheers,
Chris

PS, cant wait to see the finished mod of Vanilla ;)
