New fresh updates to Morph and Configurator!

Not many days ago we did a huge update to the Morph toolset with over 100 bug fixes and improvements. This does not mean we’re taking a break, so here comes another round of updates, bug fixes and improvements.

Below you will find not only the changelog but also what’s still to come within a very near future.

Morph template updated to v1.13

The Morph template is where most of the the heavy lifting is done. Think of it as the engine of a car, while the themelet (otherwise referred to as “child themes”) are the sexy body work. The Morph template can be installed via Configurator’s installer (which you see right after you have installed the component) or the standard Joomla installer.

Changelog:

Added a number of missing entry point checks.
Updated the functions to use Joomla’s standard permissions when updating the configuration.php.
Fixed the issue with the “back to top” not being properly translated.
Ported Joomla’s standard caption.js to use a more lightweight, jQuery version. This will be used if the captions plugin is not active.
Added a fix for the invalid token bug in com_user.

Still to do

Fix an issue with the themelets html overrides.

Configurator component updated to v1.11

Configurator is one of Morph’s methods of control. Plainly put it is a Joomla! component and is used to manage most aspects of Morph. You can customize everything from your sites logo, colors, performance options, blocks and more.

Changelog:

Added a number of missing entry point checks.
Updated the installer to use Joomla’s standard permissions when updating the configuration.php.
Fixed the “Loading Management Interface” bug.
Optimized the Recycle Bin’s “delete assets” code.
