Pre-release candidate of Morph for Joomla available for download
We’ve just updated the Joomlajunkie club downloads with new versions of Morph, Configurator and Vanilla (see change log below). There have been a ton of fixes and refinements cross the board and Configurator is working pretty well in Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome.
The frontend themelets are already pretty stable and now Configurator is almost ready for the imminent release candidate. You will notice in the new version that step 3 of the installer has been removed. We don’t like doing anything half baked and realized that we need more time to do it properly, but we don’t want that to hold Morph back from getting to a stable release.
Configurator component updated to 0.16
Configurator is used to manage most aspects of Morph. You can customize everything from your sites logo, colors, performance options, blocks and more.
- Removed sample data step from the component installer.
- Simplified the summary step of the component installer.
- Fixed a multitude of bugs and JS tweaks to the component installer.
- Added an overlay to the Universal Installer.
- Dialogs: Simplified the process, text and removed unnecessary steps and unnecessary dialogs.
- Dialogs: Fixed an error with some dialogs not reloading the UI.
- Dialogs: Fixed random issues that had cropped.
- Added the ability to upgrade Morph via Configurator.
- Fixed a bug on the Universal Installer that showed the Form Changes dialog even if no changes were made.
- Removed the JS injected menu elements and created custom HTML menu elements on the toolbar.
- Tweaked the bottom save bar function.
- Re-factored the Show/Hide shelf function.
- Multiple JS/CSS changes for better cross-browser compliance.
- Tweaked the JS overlay function.
- Version Checker fixed to remove the cookies before refreshing and removed a rogue hash.
- Loads of cross browser fixes.

Morph template updated to 0.19
The Morph template is where most of the the heavy lifting is done. Think of it as the engine of a car, while the themelets are the sexy body work.
- Rewrote the Mootools unset code.
- Rewrote the Joomla contact form using html overrides now tableless & supports hCard (read more on microformats.org).
- Rewrote how the sidebar layouts worked. Should be 100% now.
- Fixed a bunch of frontend bugs.

Vanilla themelet updated to 0.16
Vanilla is the first themelet for Morph and will act as the starting point for your own custom themelets.
- Revised the bottom footer styling.
- Updated the xml default values.
- More cross browser fixes.
