I am absolutely THRILLED to announce that we have the first installable version of Morph 3.0! In case you’re new to JoomlaJunkie or just been living under a rock, Morph 3.0 is the first version that is powered by the Nooku Extension Framework. Sounds a mouthful, doesn’t it?
What’s so special about Morph version 3.0?
We’ve essentially ported the latest 2.0 build of Morph to rely on the Nooku framework instead of using Joomla’s underlying framework.
Think of this as giving Morph a brain transplant, replacing the tired and slightly bedazzled brain, with a shiny new one.
The benefits of this upgrade includes
up to 80% less code (less code = less bugs), the ability to add new features SUBSTANTIALLY faster than before and really take Morph to a whole new level.
While you wont see the fruits of this in the initial release, just take a look at the rapid speed that
Ninjaboard is blazing ahead, now that the solid base is stable. Ninjaboard is a forum component that is also powered by the Nooku Framework, and its courageous leader (in breaking the mould) is our very own lead developer,
