WideScreen your Mail.app in Snow Leopard 10.6
Did you upgrade to Snow Leopard and discover the Widescreen/3 pane plugins for your Mail.app no longer worked? Well so did I and the past few weeks have been miserable in the default Mail.app view.

3 pane Mail.app
After using PC for years and getting my mail via Microsofts Entourage and/or Outlook I came over to the bright side and started using a Mac. Mail.app is an amazing little app that I always seem to come back to because it just works well.
The only thing that bugs me about it, is the layout. It’s not conducive to my workflow. I just simply like 3 pane view. Once I learned I could use plugins with Mail.app, I went hunting.
Aaron has a nice one that allows 3 column view. Widemail looks pretty cool as well, but I have not used it personally. No matter, they both crapped out when I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I went from happy to sad in 1.2 seconds.

YAY!...no wait....boo hoo
Anyhow, long story short, Aaron has a beta version out of his popular 3 column plugin. I am using it now and feel as if the demons have been evacuated from my system and all is well with the world.
The only real caveat is it runs Mail.app in 32bit mode only. Fine by me to be honest. As long as it looks pretty. Now the people over at donelleschi.com just need to fix StickyWindows, and I will be a happy puppy again.
*happy update*
Turns out there was a newer beta released on the 1th of September and I just overlooked it. The new one works in 64 bit mode. It also has a standard preferences and settings area in Mail.app. Happy days. :) Read all about it here.

Very Nice!

I’ve heard there are some wildlife groups trying to get Apple to do more stuff with the actual S.L.’s lol. I don’t know- people are saying it’s good PR for Apple- they should jump on that.
Doing some browsing and noticed your website appears a bit messed up in my K-meleon internet browser. I think I’m the only one still using it….
