Vanilla Setup Guide

This is a step-by-step guide on how to setup your Vanilla themelet.

Steps to get setup with the Joomla 1.5 Quick Installer

We highly recommend you use the generic Quick Installer where ever possible, as it takes care of all the setup steps for you and is a great time saver when setting up your new Morph powered site.

Step 1: Install Joomla with the Quick Installer

Download the latest version of the Quick Installer from the downloads, then proceed with the installation like you would any other Joomla site. You can see this setup guide for specific step-by-step instructions on how to get it installed.

Step 2: Install Configurator, Morph and Vanilla

Now that your new Joomla site is installed, you can proceed to installing Configurator. For specific step-by-step instructions, see the "Installing the Morph Toolset" guide.

Steps to get setup on an existing Joomla install

For most part, Vanilla is pretty much setup out-the-box and there isn't really much you need to do to get it setup.

Setting up your Top Menu

The steps to setup your menu vary depending on the menu you choose, so please select one of the specific menu guides below:

Module styles

Since Vanilla is intended to be a blank state for you to use for your own custom themelets, we specifically haven't added any module styles. Once the ModFX packs feature is implented, you will be able to download and install any of the different packs which you think is best suited for your site.
