To use Morph & Configurator, you will need to the following system requirements. These requirements are consistent with those of the upcoming Joomla 1.6 release.
- PHP 5.2+
- MySQL 4.1+
- Joomla 1.5+
- Javascript and cookies enabled for Configurator.
Browser support in Morph:
Morph is tried and tested in the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6+
- Firefox 3.5+
- Opera 9+
- Google Chrome 2+
- Safari 4+
No IE6 Support in Configurator!
Please note that the admin component (Configurator) does not support Internet Explorer 6. The reason for this is that IE6 is an ancient browser that does not support web standards.
We understand that we are not yet in a position to drop frontend support for IE6, as our users have no control over who visits their sites, but we can put our foot down when it comes to using Configurator. By not having to waste time on fixing inconsistencies due to Internet Explorer 6's lack of standards support, we are able to use the latest web technologies and focus our energy on innovating rather than fixing a browser which should have been discontinued years ago.
Configurator also requires that you have javascript and cookies enabled and is best viewed in Firefox 3.5 and up.
